1.1. This standard is for a white pigmented, latex-based primer-sealer intended for use on new and old interior plaster, concrete and wall board surfaces that are to be subsequently painted with a latex or alkyd finish coat. This coating is not intended for use on wood. 1.2. The primer sealer complying with this standard is intended for use on unpainted interior surfaces including gypsum board, plaster, smooth concrete and previously painted porous surfaces that are subsequently to be painted with an alkyd or latex finish. This primer sealer should not be used on previous coatings with gloss or semi-gloss finishes. This material is not intended for use as a finish coat or on woods prone to extractive bleeding (i.e. cedar) where a stain blocking primer is required. 1.3. This primer sealer is not intended to fill or bridge gaps or holes in concrete or concrete block surfaces where block filler would be more suitable. 1.4.
