The workshop on "The quality as an effective approach in addressing efficiency in the public sector" was held in Cairo, Egypt from 1 to 3 April 2014 with the collaboration of LIBNOR, the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan, the World Bank and the Egyptian Ministry of Administrative Development. 

The workshop was prepared and delivered by quality experts: Mr. Mohamad Chamas (LIBNOR), Mr. Rami Chidiac and Ms. Suzanne Abou Chacra (Institut des Finances) and was attended by 130 senior Egyptian public service officials. The workshop aimed at promoting quality in the public sector and at unifying the vision related to standards and methodology that should be adopted by governmental entities.

This collaboration between LIBNOR and the Institut des Finances falls within the framework of the activities of the Gift-MENA partnership for capacity building (network of governmental training centers and institutes in the MENA region).
