LIBNOR Participates in “HORECA” Exhibition

LIBNOR has participated in the HORECA exhibition held at BIEL in Beirut from the 1st to the 4th of April 2014.

During the HORECA 21th edition, LIBNOR affirmed its presence within the food industry market, the number one Lebanese industrial sector that is involved in standardization, communicating most of its needs to LIBNOR.

This participation has given LIBNOR the opportunity to create direct contact with food producers, suppliers and consumers and to promote the principles of standards as well as the new services provided by LIBNOR, such as training and certification in the food sector.

LIBNOR - Training Needs Assessment Survey

The Lebanese Standards Institution (LIBNOR) is kindly inviting you to fill the online survey to help identify the training needs of the Lebanese professional community.

LIBNOR that is a public institution aims at serving the Lebanese society and supporting economic growth through:

• Issuing national standards that contribute to the protection of public health, public safety, and environment, and to the facilitation of trade and the increase of Lebanese exports.
• Representing Lebanon internationally in the field of standardization.
• Granting the NL Conformity Mark to interested parties, this contributes to the improvement of quality and sales of Lebanese products.
• Answering queries on standards and technical regulations.

LIBNOR is currently establishing a training center in view of providing a deep understanding of Lebanese and international standards to promote their implementation and contribute in eliminating technical barriers to trade.

By submitting the survey you’ll enable LIBNOR to accurately assess the training needs of the Lebanese professional community, and customize our training programs accordingly.
