This International Standard specifies the non-Optical test methods for eye-protectors the requirements for which are given in ISO 4849 to 4853. The Optical test methods are given in ISO 4854. PRELIMINARY REMARK - Of the tests described, the test for stability at elevated temperature should be carried out first on eye-protectors, generally followed by the test for robustness.
