Quality Policy


The quality policy of LIBNOR is based on the principles of Excellence and on its commitment to:

  • Develop and Promote standardization at the national level and participate actively in the regional and international standardization activities
  • Serve the public and private sectors in all matters related to Quality and standards
  • Serve the national economy and increase consumers’ confidence - in the quality of Lebanese products and services.


LIBNOR, while operating a QMS according to ISO 9001 and in conformance its regulatory framework, has the key role of enhancing  , through standardization, quality and safety of products and services in order for them to be competitive in domestic and international markets, while satisfying consumer/user needs and ensuring their safety and Health.


LIBNOR is committed to setting, reviewing and providing resources to achieve  the following objectives:

  • Continual improvement of LIBNOR Quality Management System.
  • Provision of means (Standards and pertinent information) to all stakeholders in order to  satisfy  their quality , safety and environmental needs
  • Continual development of its Information Center to suit customer needs and facilitate trade, especially through a TBT enquiry point within its Information Center.
  • Enhance its membership and participation in international and regional standardization organizations and activities in order to implement the respective agreements and harmonize Lebanese standards with international, European and Regional Standards.
  • Develop training activities on Quality, standards , safety , Health and environment for the public and private sectors.
