ISO 15270:2008 provides guidance for the development of standards and specifications covering plastics waste recovery, including recycling. The standard establishes the different options for the recovery of plastics waste arising from pre-consumer and post-consumer sources. It also establishes the quality requirements that should be considered in all steps of the recovery process, and provides general recommendations for inclusion in material standards, test standards and product specifications. Consequently, the process stages, requirements, recommendations and terminology presented in the standard are intended to be of general applicability.

This Standard specifies how a preliminary welding procedure specification for overlay welding is qualified by welding procedure tests. ISO 15614-7:2016 defines the conditions for execution of welding procedure tests and the range of qualification for welding procedures for all practical welding operations within the range of variables listed in Clause 8. ISO 15614-7:2016 applies to all welding processes suitable for overlay welding. In situations where qualification is carried out on a pre-production test piece, the qualification is performed in accordance with ISO 15613 except that, as far as possible, the testing is according to this part of ISO 15614. Building up and repair of parent metal is covered by ISO 15613 or ISO 15614‑1. This edition of ISO 15614‑7 is applicable to all new welding procedure qualification tests. It does not invalidate previous welding procedure tests made in accordance with previous editions of this part of ISO 15614. Where additional tests are required by the present edition, it is only necessary that those additional tests be carried out on a test piece made in accordance with the existing WPS and this part of ISO 15614. If buttering is used for welding between dissimilar materials, the welding procedure is qualified in accordance with ISO 15614‑1. This buttering may be required for weld combining different material structure or properties, e.g. joining martensitic steels or ferritic steels with austenitic steels. Additional tests may be required by application standards.

ISO 15614-8:2016 specifies requirements for the qualification testing of welding procedures for the arc welding of tube to tube-plate joints in metallic materials by manual, partly mechanized, fully mechanized, or automatic processes. ISO 15614-8:2016 is a part of a series of standards. Details of this series are given in ISO 15607, Annex A. Qualification by tube to tube-plate joint tests can be used for all joints even if they are fully loaded or only seal welded as required in application standards. ISO 15614-8:2016 applies to fusion welding of metallic materials for tube to tube-plate joints with a remaining gap between the tube and the tube-plate for some length of the tube-plate thickness. This part of ISO 15614 does not apply to tube-sheets with forged end connections with welded tubes (external/internal bore welds). For welding of tube to tube-plate joints with mechanical expansion which is load bearing, welding procedure test is to be defined. For other applications and/or requirements, this part of ISO 15614 can be used if required by the specification. Repair welding is to be considered in the welding procedure test.

This part of this European Standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for cold formed welded structural hollow sections of circular, square or rectangular forms and applies to structural hollow sections formed cold without subsequent heat treatment. Requirements for tolerances, dimensions and sectional properties are contained in EN 10219-2. NOTE A range of steel grades is specified in this European Standard and the user should select the grade appropriate to the intended use and service conditions. The grades and mechanical properties of the finished hollow sections are compatible with those in EN 10025-2 and EN 10025-3.

This part of EN 10219 specifies tolerances for cold formed welded circular, square and rectangular structural hollow sections, manufactured in wall thicknesses up to 40 mm, in the following size ranges: Circular: Outside diameters up to 2 500 mm Square: Outside dimensions up to 500 mm x 500 mm Rectangular: Outside dimensions up to 500 mm x 300 mm The formulae for calculating sectional properties of sections manufactured to the dimensional tolerances of this standard, to be used for the purposes of structural design, are given in Annex B. Dimensions and sectional properties for a limited range of sizes are given in Annex C. Technical delivery conditions are specified in EN 10219-1. NOTE The designation of the sections' major axis (yy) and its minor axis (zz) align with the axis designation used for structural design in the structural Eurocodes.

This European Standard lists the information that may be communicated in and includes a brief description of the inspection documents of steel products as described in EN 10204. By laying down standardized designations and definitions for information likely to appear in inspection documents and by introducing code numbers for each of the designated sections, this European Standard intends to contribute to the elimination of communication difficulties in European trade. NOTE These designations may also be used in delivery documents

This European Standard specifies requirements, test methods and performance criteria for portable ladders for fire and rescue service use and associated purposes. The tests in this European Standard are type tests and not periodical tests. Non-portable ladders for fire and rescue service use are excluded from this standard. NOTE For ladders for other uses see EN 131 (all parts).
